Sancerre wine at the Sweden court :
Our cuvee Les Pierris blanc 2008 has been chosen to accompany the nuptial meal of Victoria of Sweden and Daniel Westling on the 19th of June 2010. Our wine, representative among grands crus of the prestigious french know-how in winemaking, has hold with the fish, served by way of entree, during the royal meal.
Sarter served with Les Pierris :
Norway lobster from the west coast, served with summer truffles and truffle caviar, citrus marinated farmed cod on a bed of flowers with cucumber jelly and chilled green pea soup with Kalix whitefish roe.
You can also taste our wines at the estate. You’ll be received in a dovecote dating on sixteenth century.
Of the lordly house, it remains no more than a square dovecote and vestiges of a old sojourn. The ensemble has been restored in the eighties by Roger Champault.
This dovecote dominates the village of Champtin and reminds the existence of the former lordship.
Wines, whether it is the whites, red or rosé, were often rewarded by different competitions and quoted in various guides.
You just have to choose !
