       A dark red with lightly tile-red orange hues.  
 
            The bouquet is very complex                 on the orange peel
(liquorice, cherry, prune, toast…).
After aeration, a quick evolution on menthol notes.
 
The mouth is supple with harmonious tannins thanks to his maturing in cask.
 
 
 
Appellation / Grape variety : Sancerre / 100 % Pinot noir 
 
Nature of the ground : clayey limestone.
 
Average age of vines: 50 years old
 
Wine making: The name “La Perpétuelle” comes from the continual wine maturing by vintage blending.
This cuvée ages in 600 liters barrels.
From one year to the next, the wine is removed from the cask for a third of its volume at the time of the bottling.
Then the missing is completed by the next vintage. This process began in 1995.
 
Harmony with dishes: cheeses, games.
 
Total production : 280 bottles.
